Return Policy

  • All in store returns made within 2 days in the original packaging will be given a full refund.
  • Once a rack or accessory has been installed it cannot be returned.
  • All returns must be assigned a return authorization number (RA#), call us to get one.
  • No returns will be accepted without proper authorization and will be returned to the purchaser at their own expense.
  • Returns on product in the original packaging with all original installation manuals are subject to a 15% restocking fee and must be made within 10 days of original purchase.
  • Refunds will only be credited back to the original purchaser with the original payment method.
  • Original proof of purchase is required for all refunds. Any damage or missing packaging will result in a deduction from the credited amount of the return.
  • It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure all returns are packed, tracked, and insured properly.
  • All shipping on returns are the sole responsibility of the purchaser. No C.O.D.'s will be accepted under any circumstance.
  • Returns are not permitted on any final sale or discounted product.
  • Any packages refused by the purchaser are subject to the above terms plus any additional shipping charges incurred to Auto Racks.
  • An additional shipping fee of $100 will be also be charged in addition to the %15 restocking fee on all cargo boxes. These charges will be applied to the purchaser’s credit card.

 

Warranties

  • Auto Racks will assist and handle all warranty claims on your behalf so you don't have to. We have great relationships with our suppliers and will do everything we can to assist you in dealing with them however it is the sole and final decision of the manufacturer if the product is warranted.

Shipping

  • Online orders take 12-48 hrs. to process.
  • All Thule products are shipped free throughout Canada*
  • All Yakima products under $150 will have a $20 shipping fee applied.
  • Shipping times vary depending on your location. Most deliveries are received within 3-5 business days.
  • If quicker shipping is required, it is available at an additional cost.
  • All products picked up at Auto Racks require an original receipt and government issued identification.
  • *All shipping within Canada of Thule Products is free except to Yukon, NWT, and Nunavut. These exception geographies have uniquely higher shipping costs which we will split with the customer.

 

Repairs

  • All repairs are unique. Repair specialists must examine the product carefully to determine if repair is possible and to provide an accurate quote.
  • We estimate that approximately 75% of cargo box damage can be repaired in store.
  • We recommend that all rusted or damaged metal be replaced due to metal fatigue issues which compromise integrity and strength of material.
